1980s Diamond Mechanical Table Clock – Red Dial, Wind Up, NOS Original Box

A vivid and characterful vintage mechanical table clock by Diamond — Made in China, new old stock, complete in its original factory box and never used. The deep burgundy red dial against the polished chrome curved case is the warmest and most traditional of the three colourways this model was produced in — equally at home in a mid-century interior, a study, or on a bedroom mantelpiece.

The clock stands on two spur feet and presents the dial through a convex glass front that adds a pleasingly three-dimensional quality to the face. Square dot hour markers at each position radiate outward with fine line indices, with bold numerals at 12 and 6 only and the Diamond logo prominently at centre. Three gold hands — the second hand with its distinctive leaf-shaped tip — sit against the red ground with excellent legibility. The pressed steel movement housing on the reverse is finished in matching cream.

This is a mechanical wind-up clock with a proper audible tick. No battery required — simply wind and set. The original factory box is included.
