A delightful and beautifully made vintage miniature grand piano desk clock by Windsor — solid brass throughout, satisfyingly heavy for its size, and finished to a high polish that gives it a presence well beyond its compact dimensions.
The piano form is rendered with impressive fidelity: a properly shaped grand piano body with a hinged lid that opens on a brass prop stick to reveal the arched clock face within, a detailed keyboard with black and white keys, three turned brass legs, and a music stand. The clock face carries the Windsor name in elegant script above the Quartz designation, with bold black Roman numerals on a white ground and slim black hands including a seconds hand.
