A clock for every star sign

The Model 859Z was one of Metamec's most distinctive and ambitious designs — the full set of zodiac constellations rendered in clean white line illustration around the chapter ring, combining the bold atomic starburst aesthetic of 1960s British design with a timeless celestial theme that feels as contemporary today as it did when made. Multiple colourways of the Metamec zodiac starburst exist — white and gold, black and rose gold, copper bezel versions — but the black chapter ring with silver-tone brushed centre of the 859Z is one of the most graphically striking variants, the white zodiac symbols reading with particular crispness against the dark ground.
