The design

The Model 889 is one of Metamec's most decorative designs — its eight black filigree petal panels radiate outward from the central brass dial in a bold sunflower silhouette that echoes the spirit of George Nelson's iconic mid-century Sunflower clock, brought to British homes in characteristically warm 1970s gold and black.
