Europa Travel Alarm Clock – Red Leatherette Case, Germany, 2 Jewels, 1960s
A charming and fully working vintage travel alarm clock by Europa — one of West Germany's most celebrated makers of folding travel timepieces, producing clocks of this type from the 1950s through to the 1970s.
The clock folds neatly into its red leatherette case, which opens to reveal a brushed gold-tone brass surround and a clean white dial with bold black Arabic numerals, dot and dash minute track, and the Europa name and 2 Jewels designation printed clearly at centre. The mechanical movement winds and runs well, keeping good time, and the alarm function is fully working.
