Staiger Op Art Wall Clock – 1970s Gold & Black Bezel, West Germany, New Old Stock
A remarkable find — a Staiger HF-Quartz wall clock from 1970s West Germany in genuine new old stock condition, complete with its original box and multilingual instruction booklet. Never hung, never used — as pristine today as the day it left the factory.
The standout feature is the wide op-art bezel — a continuous band of alternating black ovals set into a polished gold ground, repeating all the way around the case. Behind the bezel, the brushed gold sunburst dial carries raised gold baton hour markers, a fine minute track, and the Staiger name in bold uppercase at the top. The model reference is HF-Quartz 0252, confirmed on the original instruction leaflet which accompanies the clock in six languages.
