About Westclox

Westclox's UK factory operated in Scotland from 1948 to 1988, producing over 50 million clocks across its 40 years and exporting to around 110 countries — a genuine full manufacturing plant, assembling every clock from start to finish rather than simply importing parts. This piece dates from the 1980s, the final era of British Westclox production, as quartz technology was becoming the industry standard.

Restored close to new condition

The acrylic cover and case have been fully cleaned and re-polished, bringing this clock remarkably close to its original factory finish — the creamy yellow case and bold dial graphics look genuinely crisp. The original hands have been retained and fitted to a new German UTS quartz movement, so the clock keeps accurate time while staying completely true to how it was made. Signed "Westclox, Quartz, Made in Britain" on the dial.
